can u let me know if theres a second hand wedding dresse for sale size 18/20 thanks

any colour white/cream or ivory

the price i want to go to is £ 150 but will go up a bit

but trying to do a wedding on a budget

Could I suggest you take a look in our links section, we have a few websites in the attire section, that do sell 2nd hand gowns. 1st Call for Weddings, Angelo's Bridal - they have lots at the moment, and also The Dressmarket.

When you enquire about sizes on 2nd hand gowns, ask for specific measurements, as different gown designers use different sizes, and you might find that you might need to get a size larger than your normal dress size. This is no reflection on you, it's just how the designers/dressmakers work.

Other places to check out, are your local newspapers, Supermarket Ad boards, also take a look at www.loot.com and www.adtrader.co.uk both have a good search facility on them.

Also phone some of the Charity shops, find out if they have any gowns, or if they have a particular store that they are sent to. I do know that Oxfam have Wedding Gowns, but they locate them in central shops, so find out where it is, and ring them to find out what they have before you go.
